Updated- Stayed the following week after my origional review with much better result. We will not be staying at this location again. I am extremely disappointed in the management and staff for what was the start and end to our trip. We saw another shuttled for a hotel close by who was kinda enough to drive us to our hotel, out of his way and not part of Hilton or Homes2 Suites. I stress to her that I just spoke with a man from the hotel who described the bus/van and advised me it runs every 30 mins. 30 mins arriving and not seeing a shutting I call back and confirm what I needed to be looking for, the bus pulls up and the women says no she does not transport for that hotel. Now for our return, I called the hotel 2 times to confirm our vehicle was still there, due to delayed flight and also to obtain the information needed for shuttle pick up. After being upset and expressing their customer service in that situation was not acceptable, the lady final got the shuttle to come get us. Our flight was leaving at 530 and we needed to get there ASAP. Except when we woke up at 3am to catch the 4am shuttle to the airport, they did not have us listed as passengers. The check in process seemed to go smoothly, made sure we had the placard for our vehicle & set up the shuttle for our early flight the next morning. We booked a room for 1 evening, late check-in and 7 days of parking our vehicle while out of town on vacation. I don't know that we'll stay at this property again, the Hilton Garden Inn up the road just a bit was really nice from what we saw when we were hanging out with friends staying there. There's a restaurant called First Watch nearby that had really great breakfast food. The breakfast left much to be desired, we didn't get anything besides coffee. The room itself was fine, would have been nice if the bathroom door swung out instead of into the bathroom so you weren't stuck between the toilet and the vanity when trying to exit. We got a plethora of excuses as to why the issues occurred but they did eventually make it right. They completely screwed up the check-out process for the 2 night stay and it took talking to 5-6 Hilton employees, both at the hotel and corporate, to get the issues fixed. We were there for 4 nights and booked another room for a family member for 2 nights. We definitely feel like we paid more than what it was worth. Out of all the properties we stayed at during our wedding/honeymoon, this was the only one that never acknowledged our reason for staying which I thought was odd. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding, we got married at a family property in KC.
